National Cybersecurity Crisis Challenge – Group Prize Winner (2026)
- Led a six-person crisis cell through a multi-phase NIS2 security incident simulation. Developed a custom incident response playbook based on NIST CSF 2.0, SP 800-61r3, MITRE ATT&CK and NIS2 requirements in preparation.
- Conducted risk analyses and impact assessments, drafted situation reports, tracked action items and drove task execution during the escalating scenario. Afterwards, I delivered a press briefing and fielded questions from a jury of senior cybersecurity leaders. First prize among nine professional teams.
Investigation Coordinator – De Morgen (2025)
- Launched and coordinated a six-month sensitive investigation into allegations of abuse within an active international organization, contacting 100+ stakeholders and engaging over 18 participants, serving as the central point of contact for senior journalists throughout the investigation.
- Synthesized research into briefs, timelines and risk assessments that directly informed senior editorial decisions on publication, timing and risk exposure.
- Applied practical operational security measures to safeguard sources and investigative integrity. Maintained continuity under legal threat and trust with stakeholders being pressured by the organization.
